Aspiring Development Economist & Gender Equality Advocate with a commitment to translating research into action for social change

As a Ph.D. candidate in development economics at the University of Groningen, I am passionate about applying experimental methods to explore and test interventions that support the development and empowerment of women in low- and middle-income countries.

In addition to my academic pursuits, I bring over three years of experience in development and humanitarian contexts, specializing in implementation research. My work has focused on Southeast Asia, particularly Myanmar, Thailand, and Vietnam, though I have also provided consultancy services for projects worldwide. I have contributed to a range of sectors, including health, with a focus on Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs), sexual and reproductive health, maternal health, malaria surveillance, and mental health. Additionally, I have worked on gender and social inclusion within the economic and agricultural sectors. Throughout my career, I have collaborated with a wide variety of stakeholders, including grassroots organizations, Civil Society Organizations (CSOs), NGOs, UN bodies, governmental agencies, and donors.

Driven by the goal of translating research into tangible action for social change, particularly for marginalized and vulnerable groups, I am committed to making a meaningful impact in the field of development economics and gender equality advocacy.
